- Techniques in Bookmaking
Techniques in Bookmaking
In this comprehensive two day workshop, participants will learn several styles of book binding, as well as explore how the format of a book can be a fruitful form of expression for printmakers. Participants will leave the course with several completed examples of book formats. The first book will be a codex binding in a hard cover. After that, we will complete two simpler styles of binding- drum leaf and pamphlet stitch. Materials will be provided, but any old or discarded prints may be used in the books.
