- Intro to Non-toxic Photopolymer Intaglio
Intro to Non-toxic Photopolymer Intaglio
This versatile technique is perfect for photographers interested in expanding their options for photographic expression and for illustrators who would like to make multiple handmade editions of their drawings. Using Akua intaglio inks and wonderfully easy-to-use photosensitive (photopolymer) plates, students will learn to create rich and detailed images from their photographs or drawings. Photogravure was introduced in the 1800's as a way to produce photographic prints and has been revived with the availability of non-toxic photopolymer plates.
This class is a great opportunity for experienced and beginning print-makers alike!
