Introduction to Photopolymer Printmaking - Aug
Are you a photographer? An artist who loves taking photos? This versatile technique is perfect for all photographers interested in expanding their options for photographic expression. The wonderfully-easy-to-use photosensitive (photopolymer) plates allow artists to create a distinct, handmade look with their photographic prints. Participants will learn to manipulate their images on Photoshop, how to expose them onto the photosensitive plates and finally, techniques for inking and printing rich and detailed images.
Photogravure was introduced in the 1800's as a way to produce photographic prints and has been revived with the availability of non-toxic photopolymer plates. This class is great for experienced and beginning printmakers alike!
