Challenge convention and take chances in this monotype workshop that explores the rich intersection between painting and printmaking.
In this unique workshop, watercolor washes are laid down on Yupo paper, allowed to dry, then cut up and reconfigured into multi-layered monoprints when run through the press with damp paper. To these painterly washes, linear marks are added using drypoint and transfer drawing techniques.
We invite the experienced and the inexperienced to join us in this creative, colorful journey into the many possibilities of watercolor monotypes…

Class time: 10 AM – 5 PM, includes lunch break
Class fee: $260 + tax, includes all printing materials and one large paper (divided in quarters.) Additional paper may be purchased.
