Dan Noyes has a degree in Fine Art from UNM. Since graduating he has taken classes in printmaking at Remarque and ceramics with George Matsumoto. Discovering Printmaking was discovering a real and exciting way to make images. I add ink and imagery and slowly discover the image. Nature and Shrines inspire me for their sense of place and the sacred. Blue shows up in my prints a lot-it is a soothing color for me and a elemental color-the color of the sky and water.
