Jessica Krichels is a printmaker and educator based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Originally from Maine, she earned her B.A. in Visual Arts from Brown University, where she explored papermaking, printmaking, and photography. After graduating, Krichels moved to Guadalajara, Mexico, where she spent thirteen years living and working as both an artist and teacher. During that time, she exhibited widely, ran her own gallery and workshop space, and participated in national and local juried exhibitions. Her work is included in numerous public and private collections across Mexico and the United States.

In 2012, Krichels received a National Art Teacher Fellowship to support her pursuit of her artistic career.  She is now the co-owner of Remarque Print Workshop in Albuquerque, where she creates her prints and leads workshops in printmaking. In addition to her studio practice, Krichels teaches visual art at Atrisco Heritage High School.

In 2022, she was awarded a grant from theFulcrum Fundfor her projectPressing Letters: A Collaboration of Literary Broadsides.
