Intermediate Letterpress: Printing Linocuts
 |
In this intermediate letterpress class, students will take an active role in setting up the press to print. The emphasis of the class is on the planning and technical execution of a creative project. We will begin the day planning the basic layout of our prints, carve linoleum blocks, and then move to the press. Students will be guided through locking up the chase, placing guides on the platen, and proofing until everything is just right. |

Multi-Plate Photopolymer September 2-4 |
In this workshop you will learn to print 2, 3 and 4 color photopolymer images! Explore the many ways in which working with multiple plates can add color and interest to your photopolymer images. We will learn to prepare, expose, print and register multiple plates. Techniques will include positive & negative prints, four-color separation and selecting techniques to add discrete areas of color.

Remarque Print Workshop
Remarque Print Workshop is the only non-toxic professional print workshop in Albuquerque. Remarque is an internationally recognized institution dedicated to providing artists with press access, classes, exhibition opportunities and other printmaking related services. Formerly New Grounds, it has been in operation for 20 years and remains dedicated to providing gallery and workshop opportunities for printmakers in all disciplines.

4th Annual Remarque Print Exchange
Remarque Printshop is delighted to announce the Fourth Annual non-juried Remarque Print Exchange. Join us in our mission to engage with printmakers around the world, to exhibit new works in Albuquerque, New Mexico and to raise funds for our educational scholarship fund. All entries will be included in the print exchange. Artists are asked to produce an edition of 11 prints that will be distributed to all participants of the Exchange.

Remarque is happy to announce that we are now booking pop-up gallery exhibitions, concerts, and other events at Tortuga Gallery! Tortuga Gallery has been a cornerstone of the Albuquerque arts community for 12 years, and our team at Remarque is honored to continue this work.
