Workshop Description: 

Experiment with the endless possibilities of mixed media monoprints on fabric!
Explore a variety of approaches using stencils, painterly brush techniques, simple relief plates, chine colle ́, and layers of color and texture. Discussion and technical demonstrations focus on one-of-a-kind prints, working in a series and printing for garments. Create expressive, complex monoprints on a variety of natural fibers, including linen, cotton, vintage fabric, and hand-dyed fabric. This workshop is for all levels of experience.
