Drawn in Copper: A One-Day Introduction to Etching (November 7, 2026)

Curious about printmaking but never quite sure where to start? This hands-on introductory workshop designed by veteran printmaker, Pamela Wesolek is an invitation to slow down, experiment, and discover the beautiful potential of etching.

Designed for artists with little or no printmaking experience, this class will guide you through the process from plate to print in one day!  You’ll learn how to prepare and draw on a copper plate, ink the plate, operate an etching press, and explore the techniques that transform your marks into a hand made editionable print.

Whether you’re looking to expand your drawing practice, explore a process-based approach, or try something new, this workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of etching in one day.
