Hybrid Printmaking: Exploring Screen Print & Monotype (November 15 - 16)

Get ready to shake things up in this exciting new workshop! Whether you’re experienced in screen printing or monotype—or neither—this class is the perfect opportunity to expand your skills and create bold, fresh imagery.

Day One: We’ll dive into graphic screen print imagery, experimenting with repetition, color, and placement. You'll print your designs in a variety of colors and configurations on different types of papers, opening up endless creative possibilities.

Day Two: You'll explore a range of monotype techniques and learn how to layer them with the screen prints you created on day one. We’ll also incorporate screen prints as chine collé elements—a printmaking method where delicate paper is bonded to a heavier support sheet during printing for added texture and depth.

No prior experience in either technique is needed—just bring your curiosity and creativity!
