Printmaking without a Press (Jan 31st - Feb 1st)

This two-day intensive is designed for professional artists who want to expand their printmaking practice with a versatile and press-free approach. Artist Megan Morgan will guide participants through her method of gelatin plate monotype printing, a process that combines accessibility with professional-level results. Participants will leave with the technical knowledge to integrate gelatin plate printing into their studio practice, using archival materials and fine art inks, and the confidence to create gallery-quality art without relying on traditional press equipment.

• A press-free printmaking gelatin plate and method adaptable to any studio environment
• The ability to produce both exploratory proofs and exhibition-ready monotypes
• Technical skills to maintain and remake gelatin plates for ongoing practice
