In this one-day workshop, led by the prolific and dynamic Stephanie Weiner (@revolutionarylemonadestand), you'll explore the art of protest-making through linocut relief carving and printing. All skill levels are welcome, including complete beginners. While the primary focus will be on carving the block, participants will also be introduced to image transfer, registration, reduction, and collage techniques that can add depth and impact to their work.

Please come with an idea or a photo of a person marching for peace or justice—on any issue, from any era. Additional inspirational images will be available during the class. Once the images are carved and printed, we'll cut them out and mount them on cardboard and wood blocks to create striking three-dimensional figures.

Each participant will take home at least one finished print along with their carved linoleum block. You'll also contribute a figure to a growing tabletop parade—a collective installation that stands as a powerful visual expression of community, creativity, and change. Don't miss this!
